New Patients Are Welcome!

Dentures

I’m probably more excited about Okun Dentistry than I should be but I’ve been to a few different dentists over the years and it’s not easy finding a good one. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable and took the time to listen to my concerns while giving great advice. I was actually seen by two different dentists on my first visit and was able to get cavities filled that day which I thought was nice. The main thing that sets them apart from other dentists is their general concern for the patient and overall quality of work. They are a little pricier but it is definitely worth it.

Frequently Asked Questions

At our Tempe office, we offer a range of dental solutions, including conventional complete dentures, immediate complete dentures, and partial dentures or bridges. Each option is customized to restore your smile, function, and comfort, depending on the number and type of teeth you are missing.

Conventional dentures are made after your gums have fully healed, providing a precise and long-term fit. Immediate dentures are placed immediately after tooth removal and adjusted over time, providing a functional smile while healing occurs.

Yes. Partial dentures at our Tempe location attach to your natural teeth or a bridge, filling small gaps and restoring your bite without replacing an entire arch.

We prioritize fit, aesthetics, and patient comfort. Our team carefully tailors the base and tooth placement to ensure that your dentures feel natural, look realistic, and allow you to speak and chew confidently.

The time required varies depending on the type: conventional dentures require a healing period before impressions, while immediate dentures are fitted during the same appointment as extractions. We'll explain your timeline during your consultation.

While they may feel different at first, well-fitted dentures from our Tempe office are designed to mimic natural teeth in both appearance and function, helping you chew and smile with confidence after a short adjustment period.

Yes. Especially with immediate dentures, follow-up visits are essential to adjust for comfort and fit as your gums change during the healing process. We ensure that your dentures continue to feel comfortable and function properly.

Clean your dentures daily with a soft brush and non-abrasive cleaner. Rinse them after eating. When not in use, soak them in water or denture solution. Also, maintain checkups so we can assess fit and condition.

Yes. Properly designed dentures restore missing teeth, significantly improving your ability to chew a variety of foods and articulate speech. We work to ensure your new teeth support natural function.

With good care and regular checkups, dentures can last for many years. However, they may require relining, repair, or replacement over time as your jaw and gums undergo changes. We’ll help you maintain them for the best fit and durability.
