Dr. Irina Martinez was raised in San Francisco, California where she moved to from Odessa, Ukraine. Growing up, she watched her father practice dentistry and developed a great appreciation for the field. Dr. Irina earned her Bachelor of Science degree in physiology at the San Francisco State University. She then attended the Arizona School of Dentistry & Oral Health earning her Doctor of Dental Medicine (D.M.D.) degree and a certificate in public health. During her time in dental school, she was on a committee to help organize the annual Arizona Oral Cancer Walk and helped community leaders to raise oral cancer awareness.
After graduating, she completed a one year advanced education in general dentistry program through the NYU Langone Dental Medicine Postdoctoral Dental Residency Program where she advanced her training in implant placement/ restoration, CEREC, oral surgery, and restorative dentistry. Dr. Irina is passionate about giving back to her community by volunteering at events such as Give Kids a Smile and the Arizona Mission of Mercy. When she is not practicing dentistry, she loves to spend time with her husband, son Henry, and yellow lab Zeus.
