Many years ago I moved to Arizona after attending school in California and now live in the town of Maricopa. I love my profession as a dental assistant and have spent the last decade working for Okun Dentistry. Even with the long commute, I wouldn’t change where I work because I love the staff I work with as it feels like a family to me. I have been a dental assistant for 32 years and have enjoyed every minute of it. I am married with two daughters and a beautiful granddaughter.
I grew up in Saratoga Springs, New York and moved to New Haven, CT where I went to school to become a dental assistant. I worked as a pediatric dental assistant for Yale New Haven for three years. I then moved to Arizona to raise my family. I have been working in the dental field for the past three years as an Administrative Coordinator. I spend my time off with my two kids, my wonderful husband, and five dogs.
I am an Arizona native and have worked in dentistry since 1989. I began my career as a dental assistant and eventually migrated to the front office. I love working with patients and making sure all of their dental needs are met. I am married with seven children and enjoy my family during my free time. I love attending ASU football games and enjoy all sports.
Patsy - Hygienist
Living the first 27 years of my life in Iowa prepared me to enjoy and appreciate the dry climates of Colorado and Arizona. I attended Des Moines Area Community College for dental hygiene instruction and licensing. The first half of my career was spent working with a periodontist in Iowa, Colorado and Arizona. For over a decade, I have had the privilege of being part of the Okun Dentistry practice and helping people achieve optimal dental health. I enjoy hiking, reading, people and spending time with my grandchildren.
Denise - Hygienist
My career in dentistry began in 1975 as a Certified Registered Dental Assistant in Minnesota. I worked off and on as a dental assistant for eighteen years. I had the opportunity to pursue my dental hygiene education when our family moved to Las Vegas and graduated from Community College Southern Nevada in 1999. After moving to Arizona in 2002, I was fortunate to become a team member of Okun Dentistry. I enjoy being a part of a patient-oriented practice.
