First time going to Okun- Where do I begin, I am 32 and I have never experienced more of a beautiful dentist experience as I did today. I went to dr. IRINA and I made sure to ask the assistant’s name, Renle, as I needed to write a review… Irina has such a pep in her step. She is a ball of sunshine while the assistant is too. They work so great together and they were very efficient and QUICK. They did a filling. DR.IRINA WAS SO HONEST WITH WHAT I NEEDED! She could’ve told me I needed so much more done… thank you Okun

Differences Between Botox® and Xeomin®
Botox® and Xeomin® are both FDA-approved neurotoxin treatments that work by temporarily relaxing overactive muscles. When it comes to treating TMJ, both deliver excellent results. The key difference lies in how they’re formulated. Botox® contains accessory proteins alongside the active neurotoxin, while Xeomin® is a “naked” neurotoxin, meaning it’s been purified to remove those surrounding proteins. This makes Xeomin® a cleaner formulation that some patients prefer, particularly those who have developed a resistance to Botox® over time.
In terms of results, both treatments are highly effective for relieving jaw tension, reducing headaches, and minimizing the effects of teeth grinding. The onset and duration are comparable, with most patients experiencing relief within a few days and results lasting three to six months.
